VisitBali

A planning starting point

AI Bali Trip Planner

Five focused questions produce a personalised day-by-day draft with route ideas, estimated costs, practical considerations and optional links to check. It is a useful first draft, not a promise about current conditions in Bali.

Start planning

What you give it and what comes back

Your inputs

Choose 1–30 days, budget or mid-range or luxury, traveller type, interests, preferred areas and a relaxed, balanced or packed pace. Optional notes can add dates, dietary needs, mobility considerations, must-sees or rest time.

Your output

The result includes a suggested base area, morning, afternoon and evening ideas, transport considerations, estimated budget ranges, food suggestions, packing prompts and relevant VisitBali guide links.

Who it is for

It is for first-time visitors choosing a route, returning visitors organising a themed trip, and solo travellers, couples, families or friends comparing pace and budget. It is not a booking engine or professional advice.

How the itinerary is generated

Your answers are sent to an AI language model with planning rules for routes, pacing, budget and travel style. It returns a structured draft; it does not reserve anything or check every detail against live operator data.

Check current details: generated suggestions can be incomplete or out of date. Confirm visas, weather, road and sea conditions, venue hours, ticket rules, prices and health or safety advice with official or directly operated sources.

Example: seven days, two bases, breathing room

Example inputs: couple, mid-range, balanced pace, culture, food and beaches. This is an illustrative itinerary, not a guaranteed planner result.

Why this shape: Ubud groups inland interests together; Uluwatu groups south-coast time together. One transfer reduces packing and avoids repeated cross-island drives.

  1. 1

Arrive and settle in Ubud: Transfer to Ubud, check in and keep the evening close to the hotel for an easy meal and early night.

  2. 2

Temples and rice terraces: Visit Tirta Empul and the Tegallalang area with enough time for respectful temple access and an unhurried return.

  3. 3

Choose one Ubud priority: Pick a cooking class, guided rice-field walk or arts visit, then leave the afternoon flexible rather than stacking distant stops.

  4. 4

Change base once: Travel from Ubud to Uluwatu after breakfast. Treat the transfer as the main daytime commitment and plan a nearby sunset.

  5. 5

South-coast beach day: Choose one beach that suits the latest sea conditions, swimming ability and access requirements; keep a weather alternative.

  6. 6

Uluwatu culture and coast: Use the morning for a slower coastal activity, then allow extra time for temple dress, traffic and a pre-booked evening plan.

  7. 7

Low-risk departure day: Keep the morning near the accommodation and leave a generous airport buffer instead of attempting a cross-island final stop.

Save, modify and regenerate

Save and share a generated plan, open its edit link, change any answer and regenerate. The revised plan becomes a new version while the original shared plan remains available. Plans can also be downloaded, printed or emailed.

Independent guides and optional booking links

Editorial guidance: VisitBali.com guides provide independent context, planning advice and places to research. Use the where to stay guide, transport guide, weather guide, visa guide, destination guide, attraction guide and experience guide to check and develop the draft.

Optional commercial links: external hotel, tour or activity links may be affiliate links, which means VisitBali.com may earn a commission. They are not required to use the itinerary, and affiliate availability does not determine the planner's recommendations.

Planner questions

What does the Bali Trip Planner use as input?

It uses trip length, budget level, traveller type, interests, preferred areas, pace and optional notes such as dates, dietary needs, mobility considerations or must-sees.

Is the itinerary live travel information?

No. It is a planning starting point. Check current official, operator and venue information before relying on prices, availability, opening hours, weather, transport conditions or entry requirements.

Can I change a saved plan?

Yes. Save and share a plan, open its edit link, change your answers and regenerate. The revised plan is saved as a new version while the original remains available.
