Aling-Aling is open daily 8am to 5pm. Viewing only costs around IDR 20,000–30,000, while the full guided slide-and-jump trek is about IDR 100,000–125,000 per person including a guide.
Do I need a guide for the slides and jumps?
Yes — a local guide is mandatory for the rock slides and cliff jumps and is included in the adventure ticket. They show you the safe entry points and water depths at each fall.
What should I bring and wear?
Wear water shoes or trainers with grip as the rocks are slippery, and bring a waterproof phone case or GoPro. Swimming is only allowed at the smaller falls, not the sacred main cascade.
