Art & Bali 2026

Contemporary Art, Design & Culture at Nuanu

A three-day meeting point for contemporary art, design and culture at Nuanu Creative City, bringing together galleries, designers, artist-led spaces and more than 300 artists from Indonesia and the wider region.

Art & Bali returns to Nuanu Creative City from 11 to 13 September 2026 as a three-day meeting point for art, design and culture. The event brings several different ways of engaging with contemporary creativity together in one setting: an art fair, a flagship exhibition and a programme of talks.

The art fair brings together 22 galleries, museums, artist-led spaces, studios and art communities from Indonesia and across the region. With more than 300 artists represented, it offers visitors the chance to discover a broad range of contemporary work and learn more about the people and spaces shaping the regional art scene.

The 2026 flagship exhibition, “What The Body Remembers”, explores the relationship between clothing, memory and identity. The official programme features 26 leading designers, artists and studios from India and Indonesia, with the exhibition curated by Bandana Tewari.

Art & Bali is designed as more than a viewing experience. Talks and cultural programming give visitors opportunities to hear artists, designers and creative practitioners discuss the ideas behind their work, while Nuanu’s creative-city setting makes it possible to spend time moving between exhibitions, conversations and the wider site.

The event is suitable for both collectors and curious visitors who want an accessible introduction to contemporary art in Bali. Exhibitors, talk times and any additional programme details can change, so check the official Art & Bali website before choosing a day or buying tickets.
