Information you provide

The contact form sends your name, email, message and optional newsletter opt-in to /api/contact. Submissions are stored and notification email uses configured SMTP. Newsletter signup is immediate-confirm. Newsletter emails include unsubscribe links. AI planner preferences are sent to the configured OpenAI-compatible AI service to generate an itinerary. If you save or share an itinerary, the site stores that itinerary and its sharing information.

Information and technology used on the site

Necessary public access uses a pub_auth_token HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax cookie for up to 7 days. A sidebar_state cookie may remember the sidebar for up to 7 days. Saved trips use browser localStorage. Admin authentication tokens use localStorage for admin features and are not ordinary public use. Session storage is used for once-per-session analytics markers.

Analytics and marketing

When you grant Analytics consent, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity load. When you grant Marketing consent, Meta Pixel, Google AdSense and the embedded Agoda hotel-search widget load. Meta measures page views and configured interactions including affiliate clicks, newsletter signup, planner generation, search, saved trips and contact events. Non-essential loaders are consent-gated.

Third parties

Agoda and GetYourGuide may receive referral data when you follow their commercial links; their own privacy and cookie terms apply. Google Maps embeds and Leaflet/OpenStreetMap maps may also load on some place or hotel pages. We do not describe partner retention or booking reports beyond what those providers publish.

Your choices and questions

You can manage Analytics and Marketing choices through Cookie Preferences in the footer. For a question or correction, use the contact form; do not send sensitive information that the form does not need.
