Tirta Gangga (literally 'Water of the Ganges') is a royal water palace built in 1948 by the late Raja of Karangasem, Anak Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Set at the foot of Mount Agung in the lush hills of east Bali, the palace features a series of spring-fed pools, koi ponds, lotus fountains, stepping-stone bridges and elaborately carved stone statues — one of Bali's most beautiful and photogenic spots.
