About Sindhu Beach
Sindhu Beach is the lively northern stretch of Sanur's long reef-protected lagoon, best known for its morning fish market and its easy, family-friendly swimming. Like the rest of Sanur it faces east, so this is one of the few beaches in Bali where you can watch the sun rise straight out of the sea, with traditional jukung outriggers pulled up on the white sand.
A paved beachfront path runs past Sindhu, linking breakfast warungs, beach bars and small hotels, and the calm water behind the reef makes it safe for children and relaxed swimmers all day. It is a slower, more local counterpoint to the beach clubs of the south-west — ideal for anyone after a quiet, traditional Bali beach day.
