Best for: Advanced surfers and sunset chasers
About Suluban Beach (Blue Point)
Suluban — known to surfers as Blue Point — is the cave gateway to the Uluwatu reef. At low tide a sliver of white sand appears beneath the cliffs; at high tide the cave fills and surfers paddle out directly through it. Either way it's one of the most cinematic spots on the island.
Above the cave sits Single Fin, Bali's most famous surf bar. Sunday afternoon sunset sessions there are legendary — get a table early and watch the world's best surfers below as the sky turns gold.
